Stayed here for one night on way to qld, lovely place to stay big rooms and breakfast was good to o, would stay again when up that way. The hosts were warm and welcoming too.

Melville house is a delightful home-away-from-home with unique character. I booked just for an overnight stay but still was given an upgrade after a cancellation to a lovely room with charming decor, luxurious bed and garden views. Very quiet. I was sorry I didn't have time to make use of the pool and other facilities, they looked inviting.. Helen was a welcoming, and helpful host and easy to communicate with. I recommend Melville House and will stay there again.
